Who are we looking for?

We're seeking a visionary Vice President of Technology to lead our technology strategy, architecture, and execution. You will play a critical role in shaping the direction of our product and tech roadmap, fostering innovation while ensuring technical excellence across all systems.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the company's long-term technology vision, architecture, and infrastructure strategy.
Lead and mentor engineering teams to deliver scalable and high-performance technology solutions.
Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of all technology systems, including the AI platform.
Evaluate emerging technologies and implement innovative solutions to maintain competitive advantage.
Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and DevOps strategies.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and executive teams to align business and technology goals.
Ensure data security, compliance, and risk management across the tech stack.
Build and scale MLOps infrastructure and support the lifecycle of AI/ML models in production.
Represent technology to investors, partners, and clients as needed.

Qualifications & Attributes

10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in senior technical leadership roles.
Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
Deep understanding of cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and scalable system design.
Strong grasp of AI/ML ecosystems and familiarity with modern frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
Hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD, data pipelines, and security best practices.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with technical execution.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Startup or high-growth company experience preferred.
Passion for technology, innovation, and building impactful products.

Working Hours

Flexible, with at least 4 hours overlap between 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM EST (6:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST). We encourage asynchronous productivity with regular syncs.

Compensation

Equity-based or commission-based (until profitability); transitioning to a competitive salary based on industry standard.
