Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Full Stack Hands-on Engineering Manager/Lead to drive the technical direction of our AI products. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI-powered systems and mentor a world-class engineering team.

Working Hours

Flexible, with at least 4 hours overlap between 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM EST (6:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST)

Compensation

Equity-based or commission-based (until profitability); transitioning to a competitive salary

Key Responsibilities

• Shape and execute the technical vision aligned with business objectives and market demands.
• Lead the development of customer support tools like AI chatbots, NLP engines, sentiment analysis, and lead generation systems.
• Oversee the development, tuning, and deployment of AI/ML models powering support solutions.
• Ensure system architecture is scalable, secure, and optimized for growth.
• Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performance engineering team focused on innovation.
• Collaborate with co-founders and product teams to align technical efforts with business strategy.
• Stay current with AI/ML advancements and lead innovation across the tech stack.
• Ensure compliance with privacy, data protection, and security standards.

Qualifications & Attributes

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience with full-stack development across web and mobile platforms.
• Hands-on knowledge of AI/ML systems, NLP, and large-scale data processing (preferred).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++, and experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strategic and execution-driven approach.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to lead across cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to adapt quickly in dynamic startup environments.
