Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Grants Expert to help TruBot AI identify, apply for, and secure grants and funding opportunities that support our growth, research, and innovation. This role requires strong expertise in grant writing, funding strategies, and relationship management with donors, funding agencies, and research bodies. You'll play a critical role in aligning funding opportunities with our business goals, driving applications, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.

Responsibilities

Funding Research – Identify relevant national and international grant opportunities, innovation funds, and partnerships.
Grant Writing & Proposals – Prepare compelling, well-structured grant applications, concept notes, and supporting documents.
Stakeholder Management – Build and maintain relationships with funding agencies, government bodies, NGOs, and research institutions.
Collaboration – Work closely with product, R&D, and leadership teams to align proposals with company objectives.
Compliance & Reporting – Ensure adherence to grant guidelines, timelines, and reporting requirements.
Tracking & Database – Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and track progress of all applications.
Funding Strategy – Develop and execute a funding roadmap to support TruBot AI's innovation and expansion.

Qualifications & Attributes

4+ years of proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or proposal development (experience in tech/AI/innovation preferred).
Strong knowledge of funding landscapes, including government grants, international development funds, and research programs.
Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to translate complex technical ideas into clear, persuasive proposals.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Familiarity with compliance and financial reporting requirements for grants.

Working Hours

Flexible schedule with at least 4 hours overlap between 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM EST (6:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST). We encourage asynchronous productivity with regular syncs.

Compensation

Performance-based with equity options. Competitive salary progression as TruBot AI scales.
