Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead and shape the technical strategy of our AI startup. As a core member of our founding team, you will define the tech stack, oversee product development, ensure scalability, and execute innovative solutions that drive our mission and long-term growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a technical strategy aligned with business objectives and scalability needs.
Lead the design and development of AI-driven software products, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery.
Recruit, mentor, and manage a talented technical team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Build and optimize a robust, scalable tech stack and infrastructure to support product growth.
Drive innovation by staying at the forefront of AI, machine learning, and NLP advancements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, product, and sales teams to integrate technology seamlessly.
Implement systems to track technical performance and continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, data protection regulations, and security best practices.

Qualifications & Attributes

5 to 15+ years of experience in technology leadership, ideally in AI, machine learning, or software startups.
Proven track record in developing and scaling AI-driven products and technologies.
Strong leadership experience in building and leading high-performing technical teams.
Expertise in AI, machine learning, NLP, and related technologies.
Experience in building scalable, cloud-based infrastructure.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Excellent communication skills for working with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders.
Tech-savvy and familiar with modern development tools and methodologies.

Working Hours

Flexible, with at least 4 hours overlap between 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM EST (6:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST). We encourage asynchronous productivity with regular syncs.

Compensation

Equity-based or commission-based (until profitability); transitioning to a competitive salary based on industry standard.
